According to the Köppen climate classification, Toledo has a cold semi-arid climate (BSk). Rainfall is scarce, concentrated mainly in spring and late autumn, with a marked summer drought and significant daily temperature fluctuation.
Temperatures are cool in winter, with frequent frosts although lower than in other areas of the region, and high in summer, with maximums that occasionally exceed 40 ° C.
